According to CNET, upload speeds of at least 5Mbps are generally considered “good” for users using a wired internet connection on just a single device. The upload speed of 5Mbps or higher can handle many activities requiring uploading data, including video chatting in HD quality, gaming online, and more.

But for users mainly using WiFi or often using upload bandwidth on multiple devices simultaneously, it’s recommended to aim for a good upload internet speed of at least 10Mbps.
