“Loki” hits Disney+ a couple of days than expected

The upcoming Marvel’s original series on Disney Plus is set to hit the streaming service on June 9, 2021, instead of June 11. That is a Wednesday, not Friday!

Like other original series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) such as “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” and “WandaVision”, “Loki '' will also be quite different from what Marvel fans have seen before.

What’s “Loki” about?

In the new series, Loki (starring Tom Hiddleston) focuses on time travel and repairing broken timelines. To be a bit more specific, the show will address a time-travel issue raised in Avengers: Endgame, in which an alternate Loki steals a mystical artifact named the Tesseract and creates a new timeline. Loki is caught by the Timekeepers in “Loki,” and they ask him to help them fix the damage that he caused when he used the Tesseract.
