Apple adds more than 200 new emojis to iOS 14.5

217 new emojis will be added to iOS 14.5, including heat on fire, vaccines, exhaling face, couples kissing, Airpods Max, and a lot more. 

Apple recently released the second beta of iOS 14.5 for developers. One of the changes coming with this is the rollout of 217 new emojis, featuring more skin tone options for some common emojis and several new hearts and smiley faces. The company is also making changes to other ones that are already available.

As per Emojipedia, Apple has added more than 200 new emojis as part of iOS 14.5 beta 2. These new emojis come from the Emoji 13.1 specification released late last year. 

New emojis arrived on iOS 14.5 this time include both redesigns and brand-new ones. In which, redesign for headphones is now presented by AirPods Max. Also, a vaccine-friendly syringe emoji without blood is a notable update.

Meanwhile, face in clouds, face exhaling, and heart on fire are brand-new emojis. And also face with spiral eyes, mending heart, and loads of people with bread are part of Emoji 13.1 which should come to iPhones this Spring.

One important thing to know about these 217 new emojis is that a whopping 200 of them are focused on greatly expanding the combination of couples with heart.

Are these new emojis already available?

The new emojis are now available in the latest developer betas of iPadOS 14.5, iOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, according to idropnews.com. iDropNews also notes that the new emojis will likely available in the next beta of macOS 11.3 Big Sur and the upcoming betas for the public for each of these updates.
