For Palestinians, last week was a week without water, internet, or even very little power. 

The United Nations expressed grave concern over the collective punishment of Palestinians and issued a warning regarding potential war crimes.

The UN has demanded immediate humanitarian assistance for Gaza.

Those who live in Chicago and the United States and have loved ones in Gaza are becoming increasingly concerned because of the ongoing and intensifying conflict.

Their concern is heightened by the fact that Gaza lacks internet connectivity, making it difficult for them to stay in touch with their loved ones. 

They are unaware of the situation on the ground and the well-being of their loved ones.

Further, many people are worried about how the internet blackout will impact the rest of the world's ability to obtain information, videos, and photos that depict what is occurring in real-time in Gaza, in addition to the communication breakdown.
