iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max now have 8GB of RAM
Apple never openly specifies the amount of RAM contained in iPhones.
Yet, it is reported that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max include 8GB of RAM, which is an increase from 6GB in the iPhone 14 Pro versions.
Along with the new A17 Pro CPU, more RAM improves overall system performance, especially for multitasking.

In the Xcode 15 Release Candidate made available recently, there are files revealing that the lower-end iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have 6GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have 8GB of RAM.

The same Xcode files precisely showed RAM amounts for last year's iPhone 14 models and various earlier iPhone generations.
The kind of RAM in the iPhone 15 variants is yet unclear, but device teardowns should clarify that information shortly.
Pre-orders for all four iPhone 15 models began Friday, September 15 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time in the United States and over 40 other nations and regions.
And the devices will be available one week later, on Friday, September 22.
