iOS 18.2 Beta: New Daily Sudoku Games Added to Apple News

Apple News+ is once again extending its puzzle collection. With the introduction of iOS 18.2 beta 1, Apple News+ now includes daily sudoku puzzles with easy, moderate, and high difficulty levels.

You may also track your sudoku performance using the Apple News app.

Chris Carley found the new puzzles on Threads last week. With the addition of sudoku, Apple News+ now provides daily puzzles to subscribers:

• Sudoku (starting with iOS 18.2)

• Quartlies (starting with iOS 17.5)

• Crossword mini (starting with iOS 17)

• Crossword (starting with iOS 17)

iOS 18.2 adds new daily sudoku puzzles to Apple News+

You may easily find the games in the News app by navigating the “Following” tab and tapping the “Puzzles” option.

Please note that it is only available to Apple News+ subscribers, and Apple News+ is only accessible in the UK, US, Australia, and Canada. 

Apple News+ is even more limited in availability and is only accessible in Canada and the United States.

Currently, iOS 18.2 is in developer beta testing and is only accessible to phones that support Apple Intelligences (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 models).

This update will probably be released to wider beta testers sometime in November and will be available to everyone in December.
