Giphy Clips now comes to both Apple's iMessage and Android Keyboard

Last week, Giphy - a worldwide popular GIF database and search engine, announced that its ‘Clips’ content will be supported not only by Apple's iMessage but also in the Android Keyboard. (Clips on Giphy are short GIFs with sounds.) Well, without a doubt, this is great news for both Android and Apple users who often use GIFs in their conversations.

Speaking of the importance of GIFs, it's sure that this kind of content does matter in many cases. Using the right GIF at the right time can elevate any conversation to a whole new level, regardless of how boring it is. Yep, that’s true.

GIFs are popular in texting, but have you noticed that the majority of the GIFs you've given and received are soundless? Now, this fact is no longer true thanks to the integration of Giphy’s Clips with Apple’s iMessage and Android Keyboard.

It’s easier than ever to add GIFs with sounds (Giphy Clips) in your conversation

According to Phone Arena, Giphy says that the company has been working hard to bring its Clips to every platform where people talk. Though users can already share Giphy Clips using the content's URL and access Clips content in places like Medium and Slack, Giphy now even makes it a lot easier to find and share Clips in messaging via "Giphy's iMessage Extension and in the Android Keyboard." In other words, this new feature allows people to send GIFs with sounds (Giphy Clips) right from the keyboard.
