Apple Releases Updates for iOS 17.1.1 & iPadOS 17.1.1 to Fix Bugs
Apple released a bug fix update after the beta testing of iOS 17.2 that started soon after the official release of iOS 17.1 in October 2023.
With bug fixes, iPadOS 17.1.1 and iOS 17.1.1 have both been released.
It is difficult to determine what has changed until the update has been tested because Apple rarely lists every bug that has been fixed in a version.
Only two known bug fixes were disclosed by Apple in the release notes.
According to Apple, the iOS 17.1.1 update fixes a charging issue with the iPhone 15, which certain owners of BMWs and Toyota Supras have reported.
Apple has admitted that these cars' wireless charging systems can disable the Near Field Communications (NFC) features of the iPhone 15 range.

Another problem with the Weather Lock Screen widgets was that snow would appear blank or as a folder icon.
According to Apple, this flaw has also been fixed.
A bug related to Wi-Fi connectivity is still impacting users of iOS 17.1, although it has been fixed in iOS 17.2.
It is plausible that Apple has integrated this patch into the latest iOS 17.1.1 update, as the company is not solely waiting for the official release of iOS 17.2.
Apple made available to consumers iOS 17.1.1 and iPadOS 17.1.1, as is customary with iOS versions.
They are 21B91 in build.
