Apple is rumored to make some significant hardware and design improvements.

Apple could change the Mute button on iPhone 15 Pro Max

According to a recent report, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will no longer have the existing mute switch and instead gain a new button.

Although it has yet to be reported, Majin Bu, a tipster, has posted pictures of the protective back case online, giving us a better sense of the design.

Following nearly 16 years, a change will be made to the location of the mute switch button on the next iPhone 15 Pro Max, according to the source.

The case's rendering also reveals that the gadget will have a wider, more rounded button.

A newly created "Custom Button" instead of a mute button may be available from Apple if leaks and rumors are to be believed.

A multi-action button for operating the camera and turning off the phone was previously mentioned as being on the flagship phone.

Also, there is a possibility that the new button will serve the same purpose.

The leak also appears to indicate that the iPhone 15 Pro Max would have a larger camera bump on the back panel.

Further, the iPhone 15 Pro variants are said to feature a 48-megapixel back camera from Apple.

It is now too early for Apple to make a launch announcement about this year's iPhone 15 series.

Similar to prior occasions, the launch is most likely to occur in September of this year.
