Apple is Rumored to Provide iOS 19 Support Just to These iPhones

According to a recent rumor, Apple's iOS 19 will continue to support all iPhone models that presently run iOS 18. The news comes from the French website iPhoneSoft.fr, which quotes an Apple insider. 

If this is true, Apple will continue to support all iPhone models for the second year in a row. This is such great news for everyone who still has older devices, as iOS 18 already supports many of them. 

Apple rumored to bring iOS 19 support only to certain iPhones

According to the claim, iOS 19 will work with the following iPhones:

• iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max

• iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max

• iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max

• iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max

• iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max

• iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max

• iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max

• iPhone SE (2nd generation and later)

The final version of iOS 19 is expected to be released in September 2025, in accordance with Apple's usual schedule. 

Not much is known about the improvements that iOS 19 will offer, but one fascinating rumor is that Siri could become more conversational, akin to ChatGPT, in a later iOS 19.4 version, which might arrive in March 2026.
