depends upon the usage and type of work. I have a 6mbps unlimited connection, I work from home and my young kids watch youtube, even though sometimes it becomes too slow as well but usually we go smooth as I do not have any high volume data needs.

Work, including on-line video meetings I would say you could get by with the minimum designation for high speed Internet (25 Mbps). If you are in an suburban or urban area, the usual minimum speed from most ISP carriers is 100 Mbps. So that tier should be fine.

100 Mbps is adequate- even 10 Mbps would be OK, maybe not great. Sort of depends on how much your time is worth- can you wait 10 minutes for a set of plans and specifications to download? Would 2 minutes be better? If both adults just do email and a few PDF files, 10 Mbps is more than enough. If both do video editing and send large video files, 100 Mbps is not enough.

That Entirely depends on how you work and what you work on.
If you have collaborative work. Video Calling/Screen Sharing, Logging On Remotely, Uploading Data. Then its highly unlikely that the Bandwidth of 1 Mbps will work .
