A Pretty Sizeable Update Is Coming to the OnePlus Open

Despite being one of OnePlus's newest models, the OnePlus Open still runs Android 13. 

The most recent update will bring about a few much-needed enhancements, but it won't alter that situation.

It looks like a new upgrade is on the way for the OnePlus Open, as seen via the OnePlus Open: The Chatroom on Telegram (h/t 1NormalUsername). 

A significant update is coming to the OnePlus Open

The article states that the firmware version of this update is CPH2551_13.2.0.203(EX01), and its size is 190.66MB. 

It incorporates the December 2023 Android security patch and is built on Oxygen OS 13.2.

The system, communication, and camera seem to be addressed with this most recent version.

• Improve system stability

• Improve the touch control algorithm for better user experience

• Reduce power consumption when the device is idle and when certain apps are in use

• Improve network stability and compatibility

3. Camera

• Fix a shutter lag issue that might occur when the Nightscape toggle is turned off.

• Fix an issue where the Retouch, Filters, Resolution, and Flash functions might not respond to your taps.

• Fix an issue where the main screen might get stuck when you turn on Dual Preview and use the rear camera to take selfies
