A Feature of iPhone's Battery Life May Soon be Available on Android Phones

In terms of functionality, iPhones are usually falling behind Android devices.

However, it appears like Android has taken over one of the iPhone's features—possibly the finest one related to battery life—this time. 

According to a story on Android Authority, Google is allegedly working on adding a battery indication to Android handsets. 

This implies that you will be able to monitor the remaining health % of your Android smartphone through settings, much like with iPhones, once the battery starts to drain. 

To monitor the battery life of their phone, Android users now have to rely on third-party apps.

Android phones may soon get one of iPhone’s best battery features

The Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2 is said to include a hidden "battery health" section. 

It does not have a specific battery health monitor at this time, although the coding suggests that it may provide information like "projected percentage."

Google appears to be focusing a bit more on Android smartphones' battery characteristics. 

Another feature related to batteries was added in the most recent Pixel feature drop. This feature lets users view the battery's production date and cycle count.
