A New App for Sports Fans Is Here: Apple Sports

Sports fans can now get real-time scores, statistics, and more with Apple Sports - a free iPhone app that was just released by the company.

With an Apple-designed user interface, the personalized experience of the app prioritizes users' preferred leagues and teams and is optimized for speed and simplicity.

Apple Sports may be downloaded right now from the US, UK, and Canadian App Stores.

According to Eddy Cue, senior vice president of services at Apple, "We created Apple Sports to give those who love sports what they want - an app that offers incredibly fast access to scores and stats." 

"Apple Sports is available for free in the Apple Store, and makes it easy for users to stay up to date with their favorite teams and leagues."

The app keeps sports fans up to date on these leagues currently in season:

Over time, more leagues will be accessible on Apple Sports, such as the MLB, NFL, NWSL, NCAAF, and WNBA during the next seasons.
