Holland America Reports High Levels of Guest Satisfaction with Starlink Internet
As the cruise company finishes installing SpaceX's Starlink high-speed internet aboard 11 of its ships, Holland America company has noticed an increase in customer satisfaction with internet service.
In April 2023, Holland America Line initially deployed Starlink Internet aboard the Koningsdam.
In mid-December, when the ship was in drydock, the Nieuw Rotterdam became the last vessel to be equipped with the technology.
Stronger bandwidth in important areas and higher satisfaction ratings have been noticed on the trip since Starlink high-speed internet was installed.
Holland America Line President Gus Antorcha stated, "Our commitment to providing our guests and team members with an exceptional experience is demonstrated by our use of cutting-edge technologies."
"A strategic move to embrace innovation and elevate connectivity and convenience while cruising is represented by the successful integration of Starlink."
Holland America Sees strong guest satisfaction with Starlink Internet
According to Kathleen Erickson, vice president of technology of Holland America Line, "We've heard from guests the new Starlink high-speed internet is better than they anticipated while cruising."
It has changed the game for visitors who operate from our ships remotely.
Additionally, this is a significant advancement for team members who depend on the Internet to maintain relationships with family back home.
