More Galaxy Devices Can Now Use Galaxy AI with the New One UI 6.1 Update

A new One UI 6.1 update designed to further democratize mobile AI has made Galaxy AI1 features available on more Galaxy smartphones, according to a statement from Samsung Electronics. 

Beginning in late March, the update will be accessible for the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Flip5, Z Fold5, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra, and Tab S9. 

This upgrade, which is in line with the recently released Galaxy S24 series, uses a hybrid strategy that blends on-device and cloud-based AI to improve users' mobile AI experiences.

"We want to empower users by making AI more approachable for everyone through Galaxy AI, in addition to ushering in a new era of mobile AI," stated TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. 

"Galaxy AI is just getting started. 

We want to reach over 100 million Galaxy users by 2024 and keep coming up with new and creative ways to use the boundless potential of mobile AI."
